Description |
Guro Ceremonial Mask in the form of the head of an antelope. Open rectangular mouth, curving horns. Dentate designs extend from forehead to bridge of mouth. Used in initiation (circumcision) rites. Dark brown wood with light brown pigment. On side, three holes along each side and two at top on either side of crack. Brown string looped through two holes and tied at center back. |
