Description |
Sculptured wood handled axe. Dark reddish-brown carved wooden handle is long and narrow, in image of a face with a long neck, and two twisted braids. At the top of the head is a small crown-like object. From the face, down the neck and mid-way of the handle are geometric-designed carvings,a bird and fish. A narrow metal blade extends outward through the nose and out the back of the head of the object. Sharp, flat end of the blade extends out from the nose. |
