Description |
African Mask. White rectangular shaped face with deep indentations for eyes. Nose is long, sharp triangle Accented with black/gray paint. Back of mask has rope cage-like feature, presumably to go over head to attach to face of wearer. Mask extends high above forehead with a triangular shaped piece of wood top with 3 black/gray points. Bottom half is painted black/gray with white triangles on sides. Upper half is painted white. From upper portion, two sets of arms extend across mask. Each set has black/gray painted center where it is attached to body with brittle leather strips. Top arms have upward pointing rectangles at end, attached with brittle leather strips, painted with stripes. Bottom arms have downward pointing rectangles, attached and painted in same way. |
